Via BYC’s website, students may readily access their course material, exam sessions, and e-forums for asking questions, participate in course discussions, communicate with the instructor and other students, etc., from the comfort of their own home or office. Students and their instructors may thus be located anywhere around the USA or even the world.

CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS

In addition, BYC supplements its distance-learning methods with exceptional opportunities for personal interaction with instructors and other students by means of periodic academic conferences and seminars organized by CSB, BYC’s parent organization. These special events range from evening conferences assembled in various strategic locations throughout the country to half-day, all-day, weekend, and up to weeklong (residential) seminars. Although attendance is optional at these CSB events, they are an integral part of the BYC learning experience.

CSB residential seminars are an especially worthwhile opportunity for students to study together with their instructors and other students, thus sharing learning experiences and realizations in an environment totally dedicated to a collective process of inner introspection in relation to the topics of their educational programs. Convened in peaceful and pleasant venues, including an annual event in Italy, participants enjoy stimulating intellectual company and partake in a variety of workshops and interesting hands-on activities conducted by the teaching staff. The average duration of such seminars is usually four to six days.

Periodically, BYC also offers intensive courses during CSB’s residential seminars that enable students to not only accelerate their studies but also experience more direct and personal interactions with a team of BYC instructors as well as fellow students.
