BYC is a non-profit educational institution solely supported by the tuition and fees paid by its students and voluntary contributions made by individuals and foundations.

 

BYC’s admission application fee is currently $35 due upon submission of the Application for Admission form (available at this page) by a prospective student.

BYC’s advanced standing course credits application fee is currently $30 due upon submission of the Application for Advanced Standing Course Credits form (available at this page) by a prospective student.

BYC course tuition is inclusive of the costs for course registration, all required course materials, instructor time, academic advising, BYC website access to learning resources, and exams.

For certificate and undergraduate degree programs (i.e., A.A. and B.A.), BYC course tuition is currently $120 per course credit (i.e., $360 per course).

For graduate degree programs (i.e., M.A. and Ph.D.), BYC course tuition is currently $220 per course credit (i.e., $660 per course).

Alumni of BYC certificate programs automatically receive a 5% tuition discount and those of BYC degree diploma programs automatically receive a 15% tuition discount for all subsequent studies they pursue at BYC. All legal dependents of BYC alumni also automatically receive a 10% tuition discount for all studies pursued at BYC, including their initial educational program.

BYC charges 50% of the regular course tuition for any BYC course being retaken for the second time by a student. Students are not allowed to take any BYC course more than twice without permission of the BYC Dean.

The cost for all standard course materials downloaded electronically is included within the course tuition. However, physical course materials (e.g., printed textbooks, audio CDs, and video DVDs) are optionally available for an additional charge of $75 per course. In addition, the cost of supplemental learning resources beyond those required for BYC courses (or otherwise available freely via the BYC website) must be borne directly by the student.

BYC’s course extension fee is currently $50 for each course extension due upon submission of the Course Extension Request form (available at this page) by a BYC student.

BYC’s final certification and graduation fee is currently $100 due upon submission of the Final Certification and Graduation Request form (available at this page) by a BYC student.

BYC provides an original certified transcript along with the certificate or degree diploma at the time of graduation. For additional certified transcript requests, BYC’s transcript request fee is currently $15 per request due upon submission of the Transcript Request form (available at this page) by a BYC student.
